MARKETING CHEESE.'

SOUTHLAND PROPOSALS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCATtGILL, Friday-Co-operative marketing of Southland or South Island cheese was the subject of discussion at a largely attended meeting of Southland dairy factory representatives here to-day. Proceedings were taken in committee. It was reported later that it had been decided to set up a committee of 15 members to consider the whole problem of marketing Southland cheese. It is understood that there were several references to the suggestion that a Southland brand be adopted, and in any case the; function of the committee is confined solely to the marketing of Southland cheese. The committee is to call a meeting, at which its findings will be submitted.
