PUTARURU. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., held a sale at Putaruru on Friday. There was an exceptionally heavy yarding of cattle, consisting mainly of fresh-conditioned and boner cows. Owing to the congestion at most of the works export buyers operated at prices slightly lower than at recent sales. There was a good yarding of sheep, and ruling rates were maintained. Prices were slightly easier for a big offering of pigs.
