Canadian foursomes will be played, players to choose partners and opponents, play commencing at 10.30 o'clock. The season for C grade players will open on Thursday. OTAHUHU CLUB. The annual meeting of the Social Committee of the" Otahnhu Golf Club elected the following officers:—President, Mrs. F. Pollard ; vice-presidents, Mrs. Belcher, Mrs. Davies, Miss M. Muir, Miss M. Wills; secretary, Miss L. Hunter; committee, Mrs. Claudet, Mrs. B. F. McNeeley, Miss E. Hill, Miss M. Clark, Miss B. Wyllie and Miss Grant, Messrs. S. W. House, B, Brown, McKenzie and J. Eccles. FRANKLIN ASSOCIATION. At the Franklin Golf Association's annual meeting on Thursday Mr. T. R. Bloomfleld (retiring president) said last year's tournament had been well contested. During the season teams representing the association Bad played mntches with Hamilton and Titlrangi. The Franklin Teams Challenge Cup had also been competed for. Pukekohe had won the eliminating rounds, and had played Waluku for the cup. Waluku managed to retain the trophy by a narrow margin. Mr. C. Wardell was elected president for the new season, Mr. H. J. Short secretary, and Mr. H E. Kissllng auditor. Dr. J. McWhirter and Mr. C. G. Johnson were appointed selectors.

Rules were adopted for the Teams Challenge Cup competition. The draw for the first round this season, to be played on May 21, resulted:—Pukekohe v. Onewhero, at Pukekohe; Bapakura v. Manukau, at Mannkiau. It was decided that the second round be played on June 18, -and the final on. July 16.

The secretary was instructed to Issue invitations to the Hamilton and Tltlrangi Clubs to play Franklin again this season. The annual open tournament is to be held on the Manukau Club's links on September 9.
