DEPRESSION APPROACHING
10-DAY'S WEATHER FORECAST (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A rather deep depression, with steep pressure gradients, is moving rapidly on to New Zealand. Barometers have risen fast in South-eastern Australia. The forecast is for moderate, but increasing, north to wept winds, backing to southwest after about 36 hours. Weather fair and mild fit first, but shortly becoming unsettled, with showers. Seas moderate.
