PENROSE BUS SERVICE.
FEAR OF INTERFERENCE. It was decided at a well attended meeting of Penrose residents last evening to protest strongly against any attempt by the Railways Board or other authority to interfere with the present conditions attached to the existing license granted to the bus company serving the district. The residents present pledged themselves to support any protest made. Mr. A. Neil, who presided, said that a bus service was in the best transport interests of the district, and were it interfered with part of the district would be isolated.
