BANKRUPTCY SITTING.

FIVE DISCHARGES GRANTED. A sitting in bankruptcy was held at the Supreme Court this morning before Mr. Justice Herdman. Applications for discharge were granted in the case of Kam Kun Chung, otherwise known as George Young, formerly a fruiterer, of Onehunga (his Honor commented that the estate showed a credit balance) ; Stanley Edwin Harding, contractor, of Auckland; Edward Sydney Groat, horse trainer, of Onehunga; Robert Porter, hotelkeeper, of Auckland; and Mary Annie Barrett, of Auckland. An order for adjudication was granted against William A. Abbott, publican, of Whangarei, on the application of David James Ferguson, carrier, of Whangarei. Applicant gave evidence that he hau received judgment for a debt of £73 8/, wliich had not been met.
