MAHAKIPAWA RETURN. CHRISTCHURCII, Monday. The wash-up of the Mahaldpawa Gold Dredging Company, Limited (Marlborough) for the week yielded 20oz. HAURAKI MINES LIMITED. The report of the directors of Tlaurakl Mines Consolidated, Limited (Thames), for the half-year ended Novembv 30, states that tributers had continued to work in various parts of the company's property, but the gold obtained from the operations had not resulted in any return to the company. The prospects were, however, encouraging, and the directors were-keep-ing in close touch with matters so that advantage might be taken of any movement that might he beneficial to shareholders' interests. There was nothing further to report regarding the negotiations for the sale of the company's property, but an offer to test it as a low-grade mining proposition was receiving consideration. The retiring directors, Messrs. C. Adams and .T. Farrell, offer themselves for reelection. Cash in hand and in the bank amounts to £224.
