TOCH H MOVEMENT.
XiAJVDP FOR NEW ZEALAND.
The impressive ceremony at Birmingham on December 3 when the seventeenth anniversary of the Toe H movement was celebrated was attended by Mr. W. G. Kitchener, a member of the Wellington branch, who returned to New Zealand by the Rotorua yesterday afternoon. . The ceremony of lighting 61 lamps of remembrance was performed by the Prince of Wales, who was attended by the Rev. P. B. ("Tubby") Clayton, the founder and first chaplain of the movement. When the Armistice came it was mainly through his inspiration and work that the "family" of Talbot House, a family which. for three years had been gradually expanding, began to build a post-war society. __ One of the lamps which the Prince I kindled was brought to New Zealand by I Mr. Kitchener for the Nelson branch.
