ANNUAL PICNIC.

The Order of the Eastern Star held their annual picnic at Mission Bay yesterday, when there was a large attendance of members and their families. A very happy day was spent, the Chapter Auckland

arranging the entertainment, which included games for young and old. Later members gave an exhibition of the Sir Roger de Coverley and the eightsome reel to the tune of the bagpipes, played by Major Cowper and members of his family.
