TROTTING.
AUCKLAND MEETING.
The two-days' February meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club, to be held on the 18th and 22nd, will require attention this week from owners. The programme has been available for some weeks, and owners are no doubt thoroughly conversant with the classes provided. Nominations close on Friday at 5 p.m. -with the secretary, Mr. A. G. Mabee. SILVER BINGEN ARRIVES. The pacer Silver Bingen arrived from Christchurch yesterday, and is now located at Epsom with others of R. Kennerley's team. Silver Bingen has gone a number of good races in the Sputh Island, and, being a reliable pacer, should do well in Auckland. BEATEN EACH DAY. The Aucklanders Little Guy and Mountain Dell were well beaten in tlieir engagements at the Forbury Park meeting last week, and it is very evident they have the hardest part to do to get a stake against the strong opposition they will meet racing in the South Island.
