AUCKLAND CENTRE. A larse field of 27 riders competed in the two miles handicap decided by the Auckland • Amateur Cycle Centre at the Domain, grass track last evening. Results: — First Heat.—C. Fortcr (JBoyds), 1; C. Johnson (110 yds). 2; S. J. Baird (90yds), 3; K. Taylor (170 yds), 4. Won easily by ten yards. Time, 4.08 2-5. x Second Heat. —J. Brown (90yds), 1; F. li. Markham (110 yds), 2 ; G. H. Wheelhouse (120 yds), 3; L. M. Nicholson (lOOvds), 4. Won by a length. Time, 4.50 8-5. Final. —J. Brown (Manukau), 1; S. J. Baird (Manukau), 2; J. H. McLaehlan (Manukau), 3; C.. Johnson (Auckland), 4. Won by a length and a half, with a wheel between the next two to finish. Time, 4.54. AUCKLAND CLUB. Two races were staged by the Auckland Cycle Club at the Ivhyber Pass track last evening, twenty-three riders competing. Results :— One Mile (junior).—S. Weller (ser), 1; H. lSnderby (GOyds), 2; K. Clarke (120 yds), 3; C. Sneller (130 yds), 4. Time, 2.30 3-5. The winner left his co-markers to ride a great race and win by three lengths. One Mile and a Half (senior). —First heat: W. Pralney (scr), 1; S. Ward (OOyds), 2; G. Hall (120 yds), 3; C. Kae (loOvds), 4. Time, 3.41 1-5. Second heat: jr. Hibburt (110 yds), 1; S. Litehtield (70yds), 2; F. Fieldsend (225 yds), 3; G. Harvey (110 yds), 4.. Time, 3.45 3-5. Final: G. Hall 1, S. Ward 2, W. Pratney 3, C. Rae 4. Time, 3.43 3-5. This was a splendid linish between first and second man over the last lap, Hall winning by a wheel, third man two lengths away.
