RISE OF PRESSURE.

"RAIN LIKELY," THE FORECAST

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

WELLINGTON, this day.

There has been a rise of pressure over the whole of the New Zealand area, but otherwise there is little change in the situation. Conditions to the east are still preventing the normal passage of weather systems from the westward.

Forecast: Winds moderate and variable, with northerlies ruling; weather warm and humid, but scattered rain likely; seas smooth to moderate.
