ALPINE ACCIDENT.
FAIX DOWN STEEP SLOPE. (By Telegraph.—rress Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. While making the descent from Mount Kollcstoi), yesterday, one of a party of climbers, Miss Bessie Lorimer, a young woman, fell down a step slope and was dashed against jagged rocks, suffering a broken ankle, a sprained wrist and bruises, The rest of the party bad an arduous task carrying her to the Arthur's Pass Hostel over rough country in the rain. The girl is progressing well.
