AUCKLAND CENTRE. AUSTRALIAN TEAM WANTED. At last night's meeting of. tlie Auckland Centre. of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic and Cycling Association it was decided to endeavour to arrange for a visit from an Australian athletic and cycling team, the suggested names being Gray, (cyclist), Hampson (-sprinter), Holding (440 yds) and Hillbouse (distance runner). Mr. S. J. Gudseli stated that he expected a reply from Sydney in a few days, and it was decided to arrange a tentative programme for the team while in Auckland.

Other decisions were.: To hold tlie provincial championships on tlie Domain on February 18. The Cycling Centre was granted permission to stage grass track championships over half, one. and livemile courses at that meeting. To hold tlie centre relay events on two separate Wednesday evenings in the Domain, and to offer the Auckland Amateur Athletic Club January 21 as a date for its Victor Ludorum meeting on the Domain. To grant permission to the Cycling Centre to stage the provincial cycling championships at I'apatoetoe 011 March 4.

The Whangarei Club was granted affiliation, and the following reinstatements approved for submission to the New Zealand Association :—l4. I,eecli (Auckland), E. A. Collins, H-. F. Bucklev (Wliangarei).
