PRESENTATION.

On the resignation of Mr. D. Bo'oertson, assistant general manager of the Farmers' Trading Company, Ltd., to go into business on his own account, the department managers presented him with a desk set and two fountain pens as an expression of their good will. Reference was made 'to the fact that several managers had been associated with Mr. Robertson for over 23 years, dating back to the origin of Laidlaw Leeds business, which in 1918 was amalgamated with the Farmers' Tradinsr Co. Mr. Robertson was assured of the best wishes of liia old associates for success in his new enterprise.
