AUCKLAND LEGISLATION.
MINOR AMENDMENTS. (By Telegraph.—.Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Minor amendments only have been made to the Auckland City Empowering Bill by the Local Bills Committee- of the House. In connection with the financing of the formation and completion of streets in Titirangi, the written consent of a majority of the ratepayers in the area concerned will be necessary before a loan can be raised over a defined area. A building line condition of 33ft is imposed. A further provision is that all by-laws made by the City Council in its capacity as Domain Board must be approved by the Minister of Lands.
