SUPREME COURT WITNESS.

DUNEDIN, Friday.

When the discovery was made during the hearing of a case in the Supreme Court this morning that a necessary witness was at Tarras, a sheep-farming district in Central Otago, 175 miles from Dunedin, an aeroplane was promptly requisitioned and the witness was brought to the city early in the afternoon.
