COMPANY AFFAIRS.
TATTERSFIELD, LTD. TO-DAY'S ANNUAL MEETING. POSITION SATISFACTORY. "Despite inability tc pay a dividend this year, I am more satisfied with the earning Capacity and position of your company than I have been for a considerable number of years." This was the statement made to-day by Mr. J. W. Tattersfield at the annual meeting of shareholders. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balancesheet, which have already appeared in the "Star," Mr. Tatttsi-sfield said that the difficulty facing the directors during this period of depression had been to bring tho works up to the highest standard of efficiency as regards plant and organisation. This had now been achieved, and when the new plant to manufacture knitting yarns was installed they would have a mill complete to .the final degree of efficiency. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following directors were re-elected:^ —Mrs. E. S. Tattersfield, Messrs. S. L. Hirst, R. Or. Clark, A. Howey Walker, F. G. Tattersfield and L. W. Tattersfield. Mr. Egerton Gill was re-elected auditor. BYCROFTS, LTD. INTERIM DIVIDEND UNCHANGED. Tho directors of Bycrofte, Ltd., have declared an interim dividend of IUI a phare, payable on November 12. This is at the same rate as last year.
