MAMOS LOSES ON FOUL.

DUNEDIN, this day

In a professional wrestling match in the Town Hall last night Dean Detton (13st 61b) won on a foul from Harry Manios (13st 81b). There was a small attendance. In the fourth round Detton, in attempting a flying tackle, hurled himself over the Greek's head and landed in the ropes with such force that he was unable to continue, and a fall was awarded to Mamos. The fifth round had not been long in progress when Mamos,was cautioned by the referee for using a strangle-hold. He persisted with these taeSjcs, and the referee declared Detton the winner.
