ONEHUNGA CLUB. The eighth race of the season conducted by the Onehunga Pigeon Flying Club was held on Saturday from ralmerstou North, an airline distance of 240 miles. Result: — Redwood I-ofts' r c c Prince Redwood,051 yds per minute . 1 Messrs. R. Prentice and Sons' New Arrival, 947.5 yds 2 Mr. J. Wallace's blk h Uhlan Rose, 947,06 yds 3 Mr. F. K. Glass' Royal Silverton, 045 yds '•'•'! 4 The Hikurangi Homing Pigeon Club held a race from Ohakune, which resulted in a win for Messrs. Hazell Bros.' entry. A race was also held from National Park, which was interfered with by bad weather. The winner was Mr. R. Laurie's entry. The average placings are now: —Mr. E. (jilby 1, Mr. R. Laurie 2, Mr. B. Wells 3, Messrs. Mcllroy and Neil 4.
