THE HARBOUR BRIDGE.

As a shareholder in the Harbour Ridge Company I am heartily in accord with the proposals initiated by the Mayor of Takapuna. The company was created as a necessary legal entity to whom the charter could be granted on behalf of the city and province of Auckland. It has, indeed, been rightly deemed a Dominion proposition. The company, therefore, being custodians, and not, as the directors assume, proprietors, of the charter, control as indicated by Mr. Guiniven is overdue. I suggest, however, in view of the increasing volume of traffic on both main highway systems northwards that both Rodney _ and Whansarei County Councils are also vitally concerned. DICTI" S.
