AN APPEAL FOR PENFRIENDS.

Public Hospital, Dannevirke. Dear Wendy,— I wish to become one of your many readers. I like the Young Folks' Budget very much and enjoy reading it every week. I am in the hospital at present, and have "been in two weeks, so you will have to send my certificate to the hospital.

Will you ask some of the girls aged 13 or 14 to write to mo, please? Time does drag so when one is sick in the hospital. Yours sincerely, Merle Collier.
