WATERSIDERS' DISPUTE.
OWNERS MAKE PROPOSALS. EARLY REPLY EXPECTED. WELLINGTON NEGOTIATIONS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. When seen to-day, Mr. T. O. Bishop, secretary to the New Zealand Employers' Federation, stated, in regard to the negotiations which have been carried on privately in Wellington for some days between the watersiders' representatives and the employers: "We discussed the question of making a Press statement at the end of the negotiations to-day, and I was in-' structed to say that negotiations have been finalised, and that proposals are now being printed for submission to the unions for approval, and the unions' reply will be given at the earliest possible date."
