TE PAPAPA CLUB. At the official opening of the Te Papapa Tennis Club's courts, the president. Mr. H. M. Tapp, gave n brief resume of the history of' the club and of the progress which had been made. Special mention was made of the excellent work performed bv the relief workers, under the supervision of Mr. W. Taylor, in resurfacing the courts. The patron. Mr. -K. Morton, and Mr. W. .T. Jordan, M.P., also referred to the progress of the club and congratulated the executive. Mr. 1,. W. Swan, the official representative of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, replied 011 behalf of the visitors. A progressive tournament was played and was won by Miss G. Bond and F. Langton..
