NORTH SHORE CLUB. There was a full attendance at the fiftyninth annual meeting of the North Shore Rowing Club at Devonport last • evening. The chairman, Mr. W. Dean, congratulated members upon the successful year experienced. Officers were elected :—Commodore, Mr. .C. Seagar; patron, Mr. H. F. W. Meikle; president, Mr. W. F. M. Dryland, C. Farquharson, H. Grubb, J. B. Hislop, A. G. Harvey, R. H. McCallum, J. McGregor, J. Fascoe, Dr. C. Bout, C. L. Stephenson, F. S. Shepherd, w. Webb, W. Cassrels, W. H. Oliver and K. H. Clark-Walker. Mr. S. B. Rutledge was made a life member after an active service for 20 years.
The" North Shore regatta will be held on November 26. It was mentioned that the deputycaptaJn, Mr. P. R. Grahame, is about to. celebrate his fiftieth rowing season, 35 years of which he has been a member of the North Shore Club, and 15 years in Wellington and Australia. Mr. Grahame nas a New Zealand championship to his credit and many-other notable victories.
