THEFT OF OVER £1000.
CARPET COMPANY SERVANT. TO PRISON FOR THREE YEARS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. Sentence of three years' imprisonment was imposed by Mr. Justice MacGrcgor on Charles Victor Birch, for the theft as a servant of over £1000 from the Carpet Import Company.
