RECORD SEASON IN NORTH. MORE COWS BEING PURCHASED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DARGAVILLE, this dayNorthern "VVairoa farmers generally agree that the winter and spring seasons are the best on record. Feed on most farms is getting ahead of the herds, and additional cows are being purchased to keep the feed down. TJie rainfall for the month was 2.15 m, making a total of 30.75 in tor nine months, as compared with 30 47m for the corresponding period of last year.
