THEFT OF EIGHT COWS.

TAURANGA PROSECUTION. COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, this day. Charged with the theft of eight cows, valued at £80, the property of Mr. George Edward Clarke, farmer, of Cambridge Road, Jesse Williams, who was remanded on Thursday last, appeared in the Police Court this morning before Messrs. B. C. Robbins and W. T. Teasev, J.P.'s. Evidence was given by the owner of the cows and Constable Skinner. Williams pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court in Auckland for sentence.
