The Orange Bowling Association held two fours tourneys on Monday night, the final stages of the percentage fours, for the 16 with highest percentage, and consolation fours for those who had not qualified. FRIENDLY SOCIETIES' ASSOCIATION. WOMEN'S CHAMPION PAIRS TOURNEY. Entries for the women's champion pairs tourney, which will be held on Wednesday next, close with the secretary on Monday night. For the convenience of members he will be at the Little Green on Monday until 9 p.m. Entries for the consolation fours for the Little Green Cup, to be held on Saturday afternoon, October 8, close with the secretary, Mr. G. Day, immediately after the champion pairs tourney on Wednesday. ANNUAL VISIT TO HELENSVILLE. The annual visit ■of the Auckland Friendly Societies' Indoor Bowling Association to their Helensville brethren will be paid on Saturday, October 1. Conveyances leave Poneonby reservoir at 1.45 p.m., and top of Symonds Street at 2 p.m. . Members are asked to send their names in before Monday night to Bro. Harris, 9, Albany Road, W. 1., who will book accommodation. ■ Bro. Jenkin is treasurer of the party.
