TWO CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. Clean potting was witnessed by a large attendance at , the Central Billiards rooms last evening, when the snooker championship tournament was continued. E. Burleigh beat C. The tournament will be continued on Monday night, when L. Burke •will meet T. Gouldlng and G. Cornish will play Sommerville. TRANSPORT CLUB'S TOURNEY. A keenly contested snooker tourney conducted by the Auckland Transport Club was concluded last evening at the Gjinnt Street club room. G. Armltajje, Gaunt Street Depot, defeated J. Knowles. Epsom Depot, after two close games. With the black to win in the last game, Armitage potted 'a very difficult ball to secur , .* victory.
