CERTIFICATION OF GARAGES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Motor Trade Association in Wellington to-day approved of a scheme of certification of motor mechanics. Two examiners were appointed to operate throughout the Dominion. The examiners will also certify garages which come up to A grade standard. Emblems will be issued for exhibition by approved garages and repair shops. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. H. J. Jenkin (Oamaru); vice-presidents, Messrs. H. E. Avery (Wellington), W. Grieve (Invercargill); executive, Messrs. F. B. Cadman (Auckland), E. J. M. Ferguson (New Plymouth), H. E. Avery (Wellington), G. W. Tench (Christchurch), W. Grieve (Invercargill).
