AUCKLAND CLUB. The Auckland Miniature Rifle Club this week concluded its championship series of shoots for the season. The competition proved very interesting, and showed a 20 points improvement on last year's standard. G. G. Kelly again carried off the title, with an aggregate of 1043 points out of a possible 1050. S. C. Parkinspn was runner-, up with a score of 103G, with K. Davies and A. Sommerville four' poipts behind him. It has been decided to .extend the season for two. more nights to permit completion ,of a handicap-trophy competition. \'V"V ; ' v <v This week's scores off the .rifle in the principal match (possible 70) ; were : —G. WHANGAREI CLUB. , (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The final Plumbers' Cup competition was held bv the Wliangarei Miniature Rifle Club last evening. It was won. by the Transport Team with a score of 323,against the "Northern Advocate's" 322. Another phase of the Vickers Rilie competition for members was shot off, H. Cowper and W.
