SALE AT GISBORNE. (By Telegraph.—Special to " S'tar.") ' GTSBORNE, tin's day. At the annual sale of locally-bred Hereford bulls chief interest centred in eight Polled animals bred by Mr. F. E. Humphreys from a sire imported from America in 1020. These made 2 Irs to OOgs, averaging 43gs. Two of the hishest-pricecl were for Australia and two for the Waikato. Hutehineon Bios.' draft of two-year-olds realised 24gs to 57rs, averaging 31%R8. Of a draft on account of Mr. A. IT. Wallis six were sold, averaging Hig«. The sale was notable for including the first New Zealand offering of Polled Hereford bulls.
