Pet Kangaroo Attacks Sergeant When Giving First Aid.

TERRIBLE WOUNDS INFLICTED

SYDNEY, August 31.

Three small boys were playing with a loaded revolver at Randwick to-day when the weapon was accidentally discharged. A bullet entered the head of John Enemy, aged eight, and he is now in a critical condition.

A neighbour, Police-Sergeant Saunders, attempted to ■ render assistance, when a pet "old man" kangaroo attacked him. It inflicted terrible wounds on his head and chest and ripped most of his clothing off.
