VALUELESS CHEQUE.

UPHOLSTERER DEALT WITH.

_ Charges of forging a cheque for £5 10/, and another of obtaining £5 15/ from A. J. Nation on January 11, 1031 by means of a valueless cheque, were brought against Thomas Danbney, a"-e-l 35, upholsterer, at the Police Court to-'day.

Daubney pleaded guilty to the second charge, and the forgery charge was withdrawn.

Iho magistrate convicted and old red Daubney to come up for sentence if called upon within twelve months. He was ordered to make restitution within that period.
