Miss Zara Hutter, of Symonds Street, leaves by the Aorangi on Monday for a 'three months' holiday in Sydney. Miss M. Fenwick, Auckland, is spending a holiday with her aunt, Mrs. H. O'Connor, Bongotai Terrace, Wellington, states the "Dominion." Mrs. de Meric, wife of Captain M. J. C. de Meric, M.V.0., of H.M.s Dunedin, will arrive in Wellington to-day by the Rangitata from England «• *• * * Mrs. M. Armstrong and Miss Daisie Armstrong, of Christchurch, have left for Auckland, where Miss Armstrong will join the Bangitiki, en route to England. Dr. and Mrs. George Pezaro, of Remuera Boad, leave for a visit to Christchurch by this evening's express. Miss Wilma Shimmer, director of the Myers kindergarten, was selected froni five local candidates yesterday morning as the Auckland candidate to appear before the selection committee in Wellington for the Carnegie scholarship in kindergarten work. If successful, she will receive a year's training in America.
