NAVAL HONOURS.

Body of Exiled Portuguese King

Reaches Lisbon.

SALUTE OF 21 GUNS.

(British Official Wireless.) (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 2.

When the British cruiser Concord with the body of ex-King Manoel of Portugal, who died recently in London, reached the River Tagus to-day, she was met by an escort of Portuguese seaplanes and the two Portuguese warships" Guardiana and Liz. A salute of 21 guns was fired from the fortress as the Concord passed up the river.

British sailors carried the coffin ashore, where it was handed over to the Portuguese authorities and conveyed to St. Vincent Church on a gun-carriage. Great crowds lined the quays and streets.
