Intense Cyclonic Disturbance In New South Wales.
RAIN WANTED IN PLACES

SYDNEY, this day,
An intense cyclonic disturbance, bringing State-wide rains, is advancing on New South Wales from the west. Shipping has been warned of southerly gales to be expected on the coast and in the Tasman. Falls of several inches of rain were recorded on the south coast yesterday with the possibility of floods.
Inland areas, which were badly needing rain to ensure good harvests, have come within the scope of the disturbance, bufc so far have experienced only light falls.
