NINE LOST IN 'PLANE.
Fears of Tragedy in Andean Snowstorm. . UNSUCCESSFUL SEARCH. (Received 9.30 a.m.) BUENOS AYRES, July 17. A great passenger 'plane travelling from Chile to Buenos Ayres with two pilots and seven passengers has been lost in a snowstorm in the Andes. The machine left Santiago, Chile, at daylight and failed to arrive at 10 o'clock. An aeroplane has been searching unsuccessfully.
