AUCKLAND VISIT ENDING
The. Governor-General and the Lady BJedisloc attended Divine service at St. Matthew's Church yesterday morning. This morning Lord was present at a, meeting of local organisations and institutions, including the Churches, called for the purpose of discussing possible means of rendering practical assistance towarclgPtho alleviation of the serious problem of youth unemployment. The Governor-General paid a visit of inspection to the local headquarters of the police force this afternoon. Their Excellencies' visit to Auckland will end to-morrow morning, when they will leave for Paihia, Bay of Islands. They will stay there until the following Saturday, when they will leave on tlieir return journey to Wellington. The primary object of their visit to the Bay of Islands is to consider on the spot proposals for the rehabilitation of the Waitangi estate, and especially of the old British Ue-idem-v there, to Ik , placed before the WaiUngi National Trust Board for early consideration.
