MASTER EXONERATED.
STRANDING OF THE KARETU. SUVA, July 13. The Marine Board inquiry into the stranding of the Union Company's cargo steamer Karetu at Nadi Bay last Sunday resulted in the exoneration of the master, Captain A. Bccd. The Karetu was refloated yesterday and left Suva this evening for Nukualofa and Auckland. She is due at Auckland about next Thursday.
