Huge Payment Demanded and Approved.
PRESSURE AT WASHINGTON.
(Received 11 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Juno 15. An immediate cash payment of 2,400,000.000 dollars (£480,000,000 at par) in soldiers' bonus certificates was demanded by 20,000 former service men bivouacked in Washington, and was approved on Wednesday by the House of Representatives.
