NAVAL RESERVIST:
GOVERNOR-GENERAIi'S VISIT
KEEN INTEREST SHOWN.
Their Excellencies the GovernorGeneral, Lord Bledisloe. .mid the Lady Rledisloe visited the Royal- Naval Volunteer Reserve headquarters at Ponsonby last evening. The men were on routine duties, and their Excellencies showed keen interest in all that was done. Their Excellencies were met by Commodore F. Binges Watson, in charge of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy, Commander F. A. Hull, officer in charge of the Auckland Division of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, and Commander C. H. T. Palmer, divisional staff officer and second in command. A guard of honour was formed by the men of the division. Lord Bledisloe complimented the men on their efficiency and smartness, and on their patriotism in thus voluntarily undertaking training for their country and Empire.
