WOMEN IN FINLAND.
I read with dislike the account of an interview your representative had with Miss So!-, veig Borg'. the visiting- Finnish journalist. She think* it is bad if a fanner's wife lias to work hard, but splendid if some poor, unfortunate creature is compelled, through economic dependence, to do so for the princely wage of five shillings per month. Miss Borg presumably -excuses her attitude towards her less fortunate sisters by claiming that they "have nevqr been used to anything else." If', as she claims, Finland has'the most antiCommunistic Government in the world, give me Communism. She states there is something rotten about the Russian system, but. neglects to mention that there is something rotten about the Finnish system, when women can be exploited to the extent she savs they are.
