TIN TRADE.
FIRM'S FAILURE. (Received 11 a.m.) _ , LONDON, June 6. Dealings in the tin market are temporarily suspended owing to the failure of Lewis, Lazarus and Sons to meet their engagements. Negotiations are proceeding between important tin interest, with a view to mmmnsing dislocation. The Australian Press understands that Lazarus' difficulties, are clue to Continental clients failing to meet differences. Rumours of some such event have been nauuiuu over the tin market for eome months, and competent authorities are hopeful that now the extent of the trouble is known the position will improve.
