At the annual mpotins of tho Whakatanc Bowling Club officers elected wore :—Prrsidenf, Mr. K. F. Smith; vice-president. Mr. C. Loaiio: secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. H. Reeves ; committee. Messrs. R. .7. Brown. C. Chamberlain, A.' Bridge; , . 10. L. Orceu M. Raiiison. ,T. Nicol : selector, Mr. C Loupe; auditor, Mr. F. I'rideaux. The resignation of Mr. A. 0. Clarke, was received with regret. On one occasion he occupied tho position of president. Mr. R. .T. Brown was appointed green superintendent.

A progressive full rink competition was played by the Matamata Club, when fours from Hamilton. Clauclelaiids. Tirau, Te Poi. To Arohn, Okoroire ami Matamata Clubs competed. Kriskovich (Te Arohn) won on the ajisreKate. Three teams score.;! fivo wins eaoh. They were: Clothier, Rosenfeldt, Buehan. jun..
