American's Fall Over 250 ft Cliff to Death. COLOUR FILM INVENTOR. (Received 11.30 a.m.) PASADENA (Cal.), May 27. Dr. Leonard Thompson Troland, aged 42, a noted scientist, of Harvard University, and the inventor of the colouring process for motion pictures, was killed on Friday by a fall over a dill" 250 feet in height on Mount Wilson.
