STOCKS FOR PERSIMMONS.
Persimmon stock is alwaye used. Graft right under the collar of the trunk, that is, just at the crown, "where the roots branch from the stock. Clay well and hill up to top of scion. The whip graft has proved the most successful, and an important point is to graft late in the season, just before the buds begin to swell.
