Scott is a Hamilton visitor to Auckland, and is staying at the Royal Hotel. Mrs. George Bagley, formerly of Auckland, has taken up her residence at Whangarei. Mrs. F. Holmes, of Masterton, is paying a visit to Auckland, and is staying at Hotel Cargen. Miss Marjorie MacMillan, of Remuera, returns next week from a holiday spent at Hawke's Bay. * * • • Mrs. .T. H. P. Strang, of New Plymouth, has left for Auckland and will leave by the Mataroa for England. Miss G. E. Bennett, of Wellington, ia visiting Auckland, and is the guest of Mrs. W. Drake, Onelow Road, Epsom. * * * • Mrs. S. V. Irwin, of Greenhithe, president of the Auckland Federation of Women's Imstitutee, is leaving next week to attend the first council meeting of the Waikato Federation. During the following week she will be in Hauraki Plains visiting the institutes there.
