YOUTH'S SKULL FRACTURED.

A fracture of the skull was suffered by Edward Antounovich, aged 15, of 175, Victoria Street, city, on Thursday evening as the result of being knocked off his bicycle by a motor car on the Great North Road, near Point Chevalier. After the accident it was thought lie had suffered only concussion and superficial scalp injuries, but further medical examination revealed that the skull had been fractured. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital yesterday afternoon and was stated by the hospital authorities to-day to be in- a fairly serious condii tion.
